Some characters feel like they were always there, waiting to be found. Mrs Boowa is one of them.
Her name comes from Moroccan Darija, where “Boowa” is the word for the chameleon in Darija. In Mrs Boowa’s world, showing your feelings is not a weakness. It is a superpower.
Green means calm, and on this bag she is very calm. She stands in profile on a gentle hill, her skin a deep, steady green. Behind her, golden dunes stretch toward the horizon, and palm trees stand tall under an open sky. The illustration comes from the pages of her book.
- A reusable bag in recycled cotton, an alternative to plastic bags
- A printed illustration of Mrs Boowa in green, with the desert and palm trees
- Long handles for comfortable carrying over the shoulder
A companion to Mrs Boowa’s Colorful Emotions, for children and grown-ups who love the book.
